And we're out of the Uefa Champions League!

Ok, we didin't expect better but in the end we had a chance as Austria Vienna beat Zenit St. Petersburg for 3-1.
All we had to do was beating Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon! Impossible? Well, Atletico Madrid let several first team players on the bench and if we weren't sleeping as usual this season, we had a chance of beating them.
We had some chance in the first half, but hitting the post doesn't give us points nor missing penalty kicks! Atletico Madrid acted like a true champion scoring 2 goals out of 3 shots, the first of which allowed both by Maicon (why the hell is he still on the team?!?!?) and Helton (messing around in the 3 out of 6 games in the Champions League this season is becoming to much for our patience! Ok, Vasco da Gama went to Serie B in Brazil and he is probably still in suffering, but we don't want to share the pain!).
And agian we go to our beloved Europa League, the Almost-Champions League feeling like we don't deserve being in first league of european football!

FC Porto 1 - CD Nacional 1, Primeira Liga, Estadio do Dragao, 23-11-2013

One more drawn on the road! Despite having had plenty of occasions to score, FC Porto didn't manage to keep the 1-goal advantage at home.
Facing a very defensive CD Nacional, we were capable to build several occasions to score but we needed to wait until the second half to see the Jackson Martinez header in the net.
On the other side, Manuel Machado did what he had to do: he moved is pieces, making all 3 substitutions by the 57th minute. And he got right on the spot! Thing that Paulo Fonseca couldn't do.
With the team tired (couldn't Paulo Fonseca see how Lucho Gonzalez was dragging on the field since the beginning of the second half), CD Nacional managed to score the equalizer on the 82nd minute by Rondon, after a huge passing mistake by Nicolas Otamendi (once again)!
We still had an opportunity on the 92nd minute, but Jackson Martinez didn't manage to score after a great pass from Lucho Gonzalez.
In the end, the equalizer once again showed how fragile is the team. Too slow! Too predictable! What to do next?
